Dr. McDaniel attended college on a full wrestling scholarship at Oklahoma State University, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology in 1964 from that institution. That year he began studies at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1968. He completed his internship at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1969.

After receiving his commission in the Medical Corps on 30 December 1969, he attended the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida, where he received flight surgeon training. His subsequent assignments included duty aboard USS TRIPOLI in the Republic of Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1973 he began his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Naval Hospital, Oakland, California, completing his training in 1977. Subsequent assignments included Chief, Department of Orthopedics, Naval Hospital, Rota, Spain; Acting Commanding Officer and Director of Clinical Services, Naval Hospital, Rota; Orthopedic Surgeon at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; National War College, Fort Leslie J. McNair, Washington, D.C.; Seventh Fleet Surgeon aboard USS BLUE RIDGE, Yokosuka, Japan, and Commanding Officer, Naval Hospital, Oak Harbor, Washington.

Dr. McDaniel assumed command of Naval Hospital, Charleston, South Carolina, in 1988, which became a key medical facility during Hurricane Hugo in 1989. He was selected as Rear Admiral in 1989. In June, 1990, he became the Surgeon for the U.S. Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. In 1992 he assumed command of the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia, and received his second star there in 1993.

His other assignments and activities during these years included: Navy Wrestling Champion, 1972-77; Interservice Wrestling Champion, 1975 and 1976; and World Silver Medalist in Freestyle Wrestling in the CISM Games, Rome, 1974. He has been the National Team Physician for the Track and Field World Championships in Rio de Janeiro in 1976; Team Physician, World Basketball Championships, Teheran, Iran, 1977; World University Games physician, Bucharest, Romania in 1981; team physician for U.S. Boxing Team in LaPaz, Bolivia in 1982; Head Physician for 1982 and 1983 National Sports Festivals; U.S. Olympic Team physician for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, California; and, Team Physician for World Cycling Championships, Bergamo, Italy, 1987. He is currently one of the medical pool volunteer physicians for USA Wrestling.

In 1994, he was selected for induction into the Alumni Hall of Fame at Oklahoma State University. Since retiring from the navy in January, 1997, he has worked as a consultant or board member for multiple organizations, including Imatron, Inc., of South San Francisco; South Carolina Research Authority, Charleston, South Carolina; Aliron International, Inc., of Washington, D.C.; Center for Naval Analysis, Washington, D.C.; Chairman of a Flag/General Advisory Board to the Applied Physics Laboratory, Johns Hopkins University, Laurel, Maryland; U.S. Dental Alliance of San Antonio, Texas; and, as a consultant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, the Honorable Rudy de Leon. He served on the U.S. Olympic Committee as the co-chairman for the Sports Medicine 2000 committee from 1997-2000, and was the physician for the U.S. Freestyle Wrestling team in the World Championships in Ankara, Turkey, in 1999, and for the World Cup Freestyle Championships in 2000. He was named the Chairman of a Blue Ribbon Panel formed by the CNO for the assessment of the future of National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, in 2000.

Following the tragedy of 9/11, he became the federal liaison for Johns Hopkins University in preparing their Homeland Security plan. He was a consultant for EADS North America on development of field medical hospitals, and was a part time consultant for EAI Corporation and for Northrup Grumman. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors for Mobile Air Applied Science, Inc, of Seattle, and a Board member for Computer Technology Associates. He is on the Board of Advisors for Aetna Insurance Company of Hartford, CT. He is Chairman of a company looking at new IED detection technology for use in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Dr. McDaniel was hired by the Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific Fleet in Hawaii to head the advance team into Banda Aceh following the tsunami of December, 2004, preceding USNS Mercy’s arrival. He spent 2 months in Banda Aceh working on issues of public health and spent another month working on Nias Island, Indonesia, following the earthquake. He has been an active lecturer around the nation about this activity, strongly supporting a movement to continue using the Navy hospital ships for medical assist visits around the world.

Dr. McDaniel is married to the former Shirley Blair (who lends moderation and sanity to his activities) of Tulsa, OK, and they have three daughters, two granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Dr. and Mrs. McDaniel travel extensively and thrive in new settings, new countries, and meeting new people.

Dr. Harris attended the University of Oregon and Lane Community College. He received his medical degree at the University School of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been in practice and affiliated with Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital for more than four years.

Chris Gellert is the president of Pinnacle Training & Consulting Systems, LLC. Chris earned his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 1999 and his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1992. Chris is uniquely experienced as a licensed physical therapist, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) and a certified personal trainer with over 19 years experience.

He practices in Maryland in treating general orthopedics, specializing in the spine. He has extensive clinical  experience in rehabilitating all ages, having worked in outpatient, industrial rehabilitation and private practice settings. He is presently pursuing a clinical residency specializing in orthopedics/manual therapy, advanced training and ultimately his doctorate in physical therapy.

Chris continues to lecture at national fitness conferences and private seminars on human movement, rehabilitation and fitness to personal trainers. He has created  evidence based advanced continuing educational materials (books, courses, DVD’s, seminars), and has authored several articles for various fitness publications on human movement and fitness. He is working on several new DVD’s on human movement, post-rehabilitation training and is writing a book on human movement. Chris is a consultant and one of the most dynamic presenters in the industry today.

Mike LeBoss has been involved in the fitness industry for over 35 years. He has developed a philosophy to encourage a ‘self-start’ approach to athletic training, maximizing his client’s self-actualization in their Sport Training program. His focus upon proper form and Body Mechanics has made him a leading fitness consultant and educator.

Mike is the founder of Mefit (TM) Fitness Centers in Portland, Newport and Sheridan Oregon, which he owns and spearheads. Mike has been a course presenter for the National Association for Fitness Certification, (NAFC) over 12 years and now serves as Executive Director for the NAFC. He has co-authored a training manual on Bio-Mechanics for the National Board for Certified Sport Trainers (NBCST), specializing in educating trainers in the importance of risk/benefit training and applied Body Mechanics.

Behind his full‐time commitment to spreading wellness as a professional endeavor, Mike is a NBCST Master Instructor, NAFC Certified/NAFC Master Instructor, NASN Licensed Sports Nutritionist, SPIN Instructor, Madd Dog Athletics Certified.

Stephen Burns, MD, attended Florida Presbyterian College and medical school at the University of South Florida. He completed his residency at the University of South Florida. Dr. Burns is a pediatrician, with his special medical interests being Asthma, Attention Deficit Disorder and Aspergers Syndrome. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Oregon Pediatric Society and the North Pacific Pediatric Society. Dr. Burns is married and has two children. His personal interests include hunting, snowboarding and umpiring baseball games. He is also a member of the Newport Softball and Baseball Association.

Dr. Burns has been in practice for 24 years and has been affiliated with Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital. He is board certified in Pediatrics.

William Singer, Ph.D., received his Doctoral Degree in Counseling at Oregon State University. He completed his internship at community psychiatric centers in Seattle Washington where he now is a mentor/advisor to individuals, professionals and other organizations who seek his guidance and direction. He is a motivational speaker whose counsel helps provide a path to increased athletic and personal performance.

As a a skilled clinician who has been involved in his private practice of over 30 years, counseling and coaching families, couples, individuals and children. Dr. Singer is a National Board Certified Counselor and Family Therapist.

Dr. Singer works with professional and individual athletes as a strategic partner, helping achieve a path for higher performance. He is also able to assist in achieving a life balance between effective, timely results and personal productivity.

Combining a blend of inspiration and motivation to action for his client’s in their professional, avocation and personal lives, his experience as therapist, teacher, coach and business owner have afforded him great insight on a wide variety of life issues.
