Continuing Education Details
The NAFC requires their students to continue their education in order to stay current in their field. Continuing education programs include topics related to fitness, exercise, nutrition, as well as business and career development in the industry. Each program is allotted a certain amount of credits that you will need towards your re-certification. Please contact us for current CEC vaules. The NAFC offers two paths of attaining continued education credits:
- Re-certification Programs and Workshops listed below. Select programs that are geared towards your specific certification.
- Workshops and Courses offered by other accredited organizations which will earn one CEC per workshop hour.

Sport and Recreation Training Recertification

Training Program Design for Sports and Recreation
This program will allow the certified personal trainer to understand and learn to apply and determine:

This program will allow the certified trainer to:

- Discuss mind/body techniques to aid injury recovery.
Aerobics and Step Instructor Recertification

This program includes two core sections as follows:
Core Section 1: Aerobics Instructor
This section will teach the certified group exercise instructor to review proper form and alignment, aerobic training benefits, simple choreography techniques and cueing/teaching skills including the following topics:
