This course is based on learning the principles of core exercises that are the foundations of mat training. Each student will walk away with a clearer understanding of why you are doing certain exercises and for whom they are appropriate.

You will learn how to assess postural problems and how specific exercises can benefit students. You will learn the reason TPC teaches a much more functional and safer approach to Pilates mat training. You will see the differences of why today's society cannot perform some traditional exercises that were designed for elite athletes.
Each student will be required to complete a written and practical examination. 20 practical hours required.
