Student Testimonials
  • I'm forever grateful for the confidence you guys have instilled in me for making me a wellness consultant and opening up my own gym.
Yaw A RN, BSN, CPT Lion Heart Health and Fitness LLC
  • My experience with NAFC courses was really great. I really liked the emphasis in the material about lifestyle change, rather than results based fitness. when you make positive changes in the way you live your life, the results happen all by themselves. You don't even need to measure them, you just feel better. I came away with the confidence that I could easily help people achieve their goals at any level. The office was also very accessible, they were able to assist me, with quick response time.
    Mary Wagstaff
  • I have been referencing items from the textbook in my class evals this year. Extremely useful to have it as an immediate reference. My team is so happy there are such good guidelines on postural alignment in each “exercise position” - it’s been so practical! I can also say that we are utilizing our newest NAFC certified instructors at Progressive, and they are well-prepared! They are giving NAFC a great rep!
    Laura L.
  • I first want to say that I have had an amazing experience with your program and study materials thus far. Everything is laid out nicely and the materials that are given to study are in-depth and well written.
    Bria G.
  • I just wanted to provide you with some feedback on the interactive upgrade. This is wonderful and has completely transformed the Personal Training course!
    Erika Y.
  • There is something that sets us NAFC apart from the over-educated trainer who has no understanding of how to apply head knowledge into Results. NAFC taught me something special years ago. I am one of those Loyal hearts!
    Kristen A.
  • I loved the hands-on workshop I went to when I got NAFC certified. They really helped in showing me how to gain clients & be successful!
    LynnetteFirst-year NAFC Student
  • I just completed my ACSM CPT exam after having completed the NAFC Health & Wellness Coach Cert. I have to say that NAFC is a more challenging process and offered a much more comprehensive education.
    First-year NAFC Student
  • Testing was convenient and the master trainer I tested with virtually was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. I would give NAFC an A for sure as I came away with the confidence that I could easily help people achieve their goals at any level.
    MaryNAFC-Certified Trainer
  • I have found that NAFC has a great mix of curriculum for learning. I enjoy very much the virtual workshops, the pace of study and the challenging nature of the materials. They allow you to think outside the box and apply your learning to real life scenarios. There’s a real focus on the body, biomechanics, nutrition and gaining the most knowledge on how the body reacts to certain stimuli and situations. I am happy I chose NAFC to work with.
    Sal A.

YOGA 200 Teacher Training Certification

WHY NAFC YOGA 200 TEACHER TRAINING?

The benefits of a consistent yoga practice have been well-established. Why then are people not practicing Yoga regularly? At NAFC, we understand that a key reason that students are reluctant to try a yoga class is due to yoga not being presented in a way that is accessible. NAFC’s mission is to make yoga accessible to all by removing the fallacies, and adding the science. This course will also teach instructors how to use a common language, offer modifications and help students progress gradually and safely. Instructors can expect to gain a strong understanding of how and when to use props and tools to assist students in a wide variety of postures.

Introducing the next generation of Yoga Teacher Training: NAFC Yoga 200™. This course was specifically designed to make the practice of yoga accessible to all.

WHAT’S PROVIDED WITH YOGA 200 TEACHER TRAINING

The Teacher Training Course offers insight into the basic history of Yoga, the anatomical theory and practical application components required to properly explain, demonstrate, and instruct yoga with confidence. Instructors will learn proper sequencing and design of a safe, effective and accessible Yoga class.

The NAFC Yoga 200™ manual contains sample classes, a complete breakdown of each posture, an overview of the anatomy of yoga, and general philosophies of yoga practice. Upon completion of this course, instructors will gain a strong foundation as well as the skills needed to create classes which are accessible for all populations, including young and old and from experienced to beginner level yoga practitioners.

YOGA ALLIANCE – THE NAFC PERSPECTIVE

A Yoga Alliance certificate does not denote the credential, accreditation, or credibility one may be lead to believe. Being registered with Yoga Alliance does not constitute a genuine education credential.

Yoga Alliance does not conduct certification exams or independent assessments of any Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®s). Rather, the RYT® credential is derivative of the Registered Yoga School (RYS®) or school registry and is entirely voluntary.

This is where an organization such as NAFC, with true educational accreditation and licensure, comes into play.

NAFC’s mission is to provide substantive, proven fitness and health education to professionals in the industry, ensuring their credibility and value to clients, members, and even medical professionals. The Yoga 200™ certification course is a part of this mission.
